My laptop's AC adapter started smoking today.
The plug on the Inspiron 8100's power adapter has had a worsening faulty connection for a while, and I had been following up on this by e-mail with Dell. However, I had not expected it to start smoking! Thankfully, I called Dell and they very quickly accepted to send me a replacement tomorrow.
So in the meantime, I'm on a break from being on a break. Yay!
